Hello,

I am Muhammad Umer Khalid from Pakistan. I am an IC Design and Test engineer at the Institute of Applied Technologies. I have done MSc in System on Chip Design from Linkoping University Sweden in 2012. In 2008 I graduated in Electrical Engineering from Pakistan with a 3.64/4 CGPA.

My master’s thesis work on Multilevel Embedded DRAM from EPFL Switzerland has been published at an international conference. During my master’s studies and the job, I have developed skills in integrated circuits design, simulation and layout. Moreover, I have experience in IC tests and characterization. During my current job, I am extensively involved in  interface PCB design for test and Electro-Optical testing of Thermal Imaging Systems.

I am looking for a PhD position. The research done at NaNoNetworking Center in Catalunya is fascinating and covers a broad spectrum.  I am interested in  Computer architecture: new and unconventional processor and  memory  architectures.
