Congratulations to the awarded teams of the ITU Grand Challenge Finale and publication of the test dataset

Dear participants, Thank you for joining us at the GNNet Challenge awards ceremony. We were delighted to see outstanding presentations from the top-3 teams and very inspiring discussions in the Q&A sessions. We would like to express our heartiest congratulations to the teams Snowyowl and Ghost Ducks, which were awarded in the Grand Challenge Finale of the ITU AI/ML in 5G Challenge. Team Snowyowl won the 2nd place (Silver medal), and team Ghost Ducks received an honorable mention. Also, we would like to share with you that we have released the test dataset used in the evaluation phase. Remember that you are the central element of this competition, the ones that make it greater and greater over the years. After finishing the validation of top-5 solutions, *we are glad to officially announce the Final Ranking in the challenge website*: https://bnn.upc.edu/challenge/gnnet2022 Congratulations to all of you. We are really impressed by the outstanding results in this year’s edition! Special congratulations to top-3 teams, which will advance to the Grand Challenge Finale of the ITU AI/ML in 5G Challenge <https://aiforgood.itu.int/about-ai-for-good/aiml-in-5g-challenge/>. After the end of the evaluation phase, we are glad to announce the provisional ranking. In the next weeks we will work on validating top solutions before we announce the final ranking (by mid-Nov). [Challenge2022] Evaluation phase extended - Oct. 18th at 11:59:59 AM CET

Dear participants, We are sorry to see that some teams experienced problems to submit their solutions to the BNN platform during the last day. Consequently, we have decided to extend the evaluation period by one more day. The new deadline to submit solutions is: *Oct. 18th at 11:59:59 AM CET*. Please, note that this is a hard deadline. In case some of you experience issues again with the platform, you are encouraged to send the submission files (in ZIP format) to the following email, and we will check them manually later: gnnetchallenge(a)bnn.upc.edu Please, use this only as a fallback in case the platform fails. We will consider all submissions before the deadline that comply with the limitation of max. 5 submissions in the last 24 hours, or 20 submissions in total.
